RIC-I Meeting of Cohort III applicants 		    
     Punjab Agri Business Incubator, Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana has organized Online RIC I Meeting of Cohort III from 31-08-2021 to 2-09-2021. The meeting was organized for the selection of agripreneurs for the two months training programme under Uddam and Udaan. The committee was chaired by Dr J S Mahal, Director, Extension Education, PAU, Ludhiana. The expert committee was comprised of Dr T S Riar, Additional Director, Communication; Dr Poonam A Sachdev, Head, Food Science & Technology; Dr Vishal Bector, Associate Director, Industrial Linkages,; Mr. Jyoti Saroop, General Manager, The Unati Co-operative Marketing-cum-processing Society Limited as Industrial Partner; Mr Satyendra Chaudhary, CEO, TBI, IISER, Mohali; Dr Amarjit Singh, Representative, Knowledge Partner IARI; Mr Sanjeev Kumar, DDM, NABARD; Dr Narender Singh Benipal, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ludhiana and Dr Lavleesh Garg, Assistant Professor, Extension Education. Total of 67 applicants represented their startup in front of committee via zoom. Applicants have start-ups in different focus areas such as farm machinery, food processing, organic farming & inputs, agri clinic services, soilless cultivation, bee keeping & honey processing, agriculture biotechnology, agri supply chain, agro waste management and mushroom cultivation. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr T S Riar and he also mentioned that Innovation, scalability and farmer impact are the major factors to select an agri based startup to incubate under Agribusiness Program. The meeting was coordinated by Mr Karanvir Gill, Business Manager; Mr Rahul Gupta, Assistant Manager and Mrs Iqbalpreet Kaur Sidhu, Business Executive, PABI.
