A Startup of Punjab Agri Business Incubator, Skill Development Centre has been awarded with the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Krishi Puruskar
    
     Punjab Agri Business Incubatorís incubatee, Mr Narpinder Singh received Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Krishi Puruskar Award at the 92nd Foundation Day(16 July) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The awards were given in 20 different categories by the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Sh. Narender Singh Tomer, to recognise and incentivize excellent efforts for ensuring positive change towards sustainability and clean environment. Narpinder Singh is an incubatee of Punjab Agri Business Incubator, running under Skill Development Centre, Directorate of Extension Education, PAU, Ludhiana. He got selected under Udaan- Cohort I in 2019 and underwent into two months training programme held at Skill Development Centre, PAU, Ludhiana. During the programme, he had been trained about the business, marketing and technical aspects of an agristartup and participated in various exhibitions and events to promote his product. In 2020, he registered his company as Dhaliwal Honey Bee Farm Pvt Ltd, working on Cream Honey (Crystallized Honey). He is also working as the President of Progressive Bee Keepers Association, PAU and has been dedicated to help farmers to get fair price of honey.
